School Program

Our School Program serves school-age children with developmental disorders, neurological differences, or learning difficulties, who require intensive, individualized support that may not be available in general education settings.

Al-Masar's School Program is licensed by the Jordanian Ministry of Education.

How our School Program differs from general education settings

The School Program provides highly structured, individualized education with a lower student-to-teacher ratio, integrated therapy services, and a curriculum focused on functional life skills alongside academics. It's designed for children who require more intensive support than general education school settings can provide.

School hours

8:00 am – 2:00 pm

Attendance is individualized based on your child's age, needs, and capabilities. An optional summer program is also available.

What we offer

Highly structured, individualized special education using the Jordanian Ministry of Education curriculum with modifications tailored to your child's needs. Multidisciplinary therapy services (speech, occupational, physical, behavioral) delivered individually or in groups during school hours. Additional intensive therapy sessions available after school or on Saturdays if needed.

Individualized planning

At the start of each academic year, your child's team creates a comprehensive individual educational and therapeutic plan following Al-Masar Program, which has been continuously refined over the past 20 years of experience with students with developmental disabilities and delays. This plan is modified throughout the year as needed and formally assessed each semester.

Flexible grouping

Students are grouped in classes by age and capability, but within their class or across classes, they're regrouped based on demonstrated skills and abilities. This ensures each student receives targeted support to maximize their development and learning.

Transition to inclusive schools

Our goal is to move our students to inclusive schools whenever possible. We prepare them for academic and social integration by attending inclusive schools with Al-Masar staff for certain hours weekly, and when ready, we transition to full integration into inclusive schools with ongoing support from Al-Masar's School-Based Inclusion Services.

Early Intervention Program

Our Early Intervention Program serves children from birth to age 5 who benefit from structured support to develop skills and participate in preschool and community settings.

Why early intervention matters

Research shows that early, intensive support stops delays, returns development to typical pathways, or maximizes outcomes with lasting gains. The earlier we start, the better.

What your child will work on

What we offer

A combination of group activities (structured play groups with high adult-child ratios) and individualized therapy tailored to your child's needs. Your child receives one-on-one therapy with speech, occupational, behavioral, and physical therapists, plus participation in small groups designed to build peer interaction and developmental skills. Group hours depend on your child's age, needs, and capabilities.

Parent involvement is essential

You'll be trained on strategies to support your child at home. Regular team meetings bring together parents and all therapists working with your child to discuss progress, adjust goals, and ensure consistency across home and program.
