School-Based Inclusion Services

If your child attends or is transitioning to an inclusive school and needs support to succeed, we are here to help improve the chances of successful inclusion.

What we offer:

Therapy at School

One-on-one or group therapy (speech, occupational, physical, or behavioral) delivered in your child's school environment if your child attends one of our partner schools, with ongoing efforts to expand our network of collaborating schools. Sessions focus on skills that matter in real classroom and social contexts.

Shadow Teacher Support

A specially trained shadow teacher works with your child at school to support peer communication, academic performance, and participation in classroom activities. Our shadow teachers undergo continuous training and supervision to ensure quality support tailored to your child's unique needs.

Teacher Training & Collaboration

We work with your child's school to provide customized teacher training and classroom consultations. Our goal is to help teachers understand your child's strengths and challenges and implement effective support strategies. With parental consent, we may also conduct in-school consultations and assessments to identify strengths and areas for growth

Who benefits:

Children already in inclusive schools who require additional assistance, or children moving between settings and needing transition support.

Shadow Teachers

Shadow teachers are trained professionals who support your child in their inclusive classroom, working on peer communication, academic participation, self-confidence, focus, and attention.

What shadow teachers do:

Support your child in peer interactions and classroom activities

Help your child stay focused and engaged during lessons

Assist with academic tasks and transitions between activities

Communicate regularly with classroom teachers and parents

Implement strategies specific to your child's needs

Training & Supervision:

All shadow teachers hired by Al-Masar receive ongoing training and supervision. We ensure they have the right tools and strategies for your child's individual growth and adapt support as your child's needs change.

Benefits for schools:

Having a trained shadow teacher in the classroom encourages collaborative efforts among teachers, parents, and specialists. It allows daily communication with someone who understands your child's needs and creates more flexible learning experiences that benefit not just your child, but the entire classroom.

Who benefits:

Students who need individualized, in-class support to fully participate and succeed in an inclusive classroom – most commonly in early childhood and primary grades.
